Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. About AgentVisa
AgentVisa (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the AgentVisa.ai platform, which provides AI agent identity verification services. The platform serves two types of users:
- AV Holders — individuals who complete biometric verification and authorize their AI agents to act on their behalf at AgentVisa-enabled sites.
- Widget Holders — websites, applications, and platforms that embed the AgentVisa widget to verify incoming AI agents before granting access.
By creating an account or using the AgentVisa service in any capacity, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. AV Holder Terms
As an AV Holder, you represent that:
- You are a real human being and at least 18 years of age.
- The identity information you provide during verification (email, phone number, biometric data) is your own and is accurate.
- You will only authorize AI agents that you control and intend to use for lawful purposes.
- You will not attempt to share, transfer, or sell your AgentVisa token or credentials to any other person or system.
- You are solely responsible for all actions taken by AI agents operating under your AgentVisa authorization.
Your free account includes one authorized AI agent. Your account is valid for 365 days from the date of creation. We will notify you before expiry.
3. Widget Holder Terms
As a Widget Holder, you represent that:
- You have the authority to embed third-party scripts and use third-party verification APIs on your platform.
- You will keep your API key confidential and never expose it in client-side code.
- You will only use the verification response to make access control decisions and will not use it to discriminate unlawfully.
- You understand that AgentVisa verification is not a guarantee of identity and is one signal among many you may choose to use.
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or circumvent the AgentVisa API.
The free tier includes a generous monthly verification allowance. We reserve the right to suspend access if usage patterns suggest abuse, automation attacks, or violation of these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use AgentVisa to:
- Impersonate another person or provide false identity information during verification.
- Build systems that automate or farm AgentVisa tokens.
- Attempt to scrape, stress-test, or enumerate the AgentVisa API beyond normal usage.
- Use the service for any activity that is illegal under applicable law.
- Interfere with the integrity of the verification system in any way.
5. The Open Source Widget
The AgentVisa widget script (widget.js) is MIT licensed and available at github.com/AgentVisa-ai/widget. You may self-host it, fork it, and modify it subject to the MIT license terms. The verification API itself (api.agentvisa.ai) is a proprietary hosted service and is not open source.
6. Service Availability and Beta Status
AgentVisa is currently in early access / beta. We make no guarantees of uptime, reliability, or feature availability during this period. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice where practical.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AgentVisa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify users by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the AgentVisa platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AgentVisa and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the AgentVisa service, including but not limited to: any content or information you submit to the service; any actions taken by AI agents operating under your AgentVisa authorization; your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or your infringement of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
11. No Guarantee of Identity or Third-Party Information
AgentVisa verifies that a biometric authentication was performed at the time of signup and that the associated account was in good standing at the time of each verification check. We do not guarantee the accuracy, truthfulness, or completeness of any information provided by users during the signup process, including but not limited to name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or any other personal information submitted to us by third parties.
We are not responsible for the actions of AI agents operating under a verified identity. Verification that a human authorized an agent is not a guarantee of that human's intentions, authority, identity, or the legitimacy of the agent's actions on any third-party site. Site owners and users rely on AgentVisa's verification signal at their own discretion and assume all risk associated with access decisions made on the basis of that signal.
